Submit images and work samples as a photographer
Are you a photographer interested in working with us and publishing your images in our calendars? We are very happy about that, because our passion is photography and we are always looking for outstanding motifs and new talents.
In order for us to get an idea of your work, it would be best if you send us a selection of your favorite motifs or motifs that you feel would be suitable for our calendars. Of course, you can also refer us to an online portfolio or similar.
To check if your work meets our technical quality standards (resolution, etc.), it is also helpful if you provide us with the high-resolution data of at least one image. Ideally, submitted thumbnails should have a size of at least 1,000 pixels on the long side - this way we can better assess the suitability already during the selection process and save the unnecessary additional effort of a later exchange.

Larger file attachments can of course be sent to us as a download link or via DropBox, WeTransfer or similar.
Please understand that due to the large number of submissions and our workflow, we will not be able to respond to your submission immediately. As soon as one of your motifs or a theme suggestion is considered for a calendar, we will contact you immediately.
Submission of calendar proposals and sample calendars
Do you have a suggestion for a special calendar theme or even a complete concept already worked out? Thank you for your interest in our publishing house and in publishing your calendar idea with Ackermann.
Of course we are happy about everyone who shares our enthusiasm for calendars. Nevertheless, we would like to ask you to inform yourself about our current calendar program before submitting your idea and to check whether your idea fits into our program in terms of range of topics and visual language.
Please understand that, due to the large number of daily submissions, we as a small team can only respond to your suggestion if it is actually suitable for our program and we see sufficient potential in it. Please refrain from inquiries about the status of the review. If we are interested, we will contact you.

If you do not receive a response from us, this will unfortunately be considered a rejection. But please do not let this discourage you. Perhaps your idea is more suitable for another publisher in terms of subject matter or imagery - in any case, we wish you every success!
The publisher is not liable for unsolicited calendar samples, images, data, etc., so please do not send us any originals. Unfortunately, due to time and cost constraints, we can generally neither cancel nor return unsolicited proposals. If you would still like to receive your calendar sample / data medium back, please enclose a sufficiently stamped and addressed envelope.
