For over 400 years, Ackermann Kunstverlag has stood for the highest quality and sophisticated realization. Founded in Munich in 1597, the publishing house has established itself over the centuries as one of the oldest and most renowned addresses for art and picture calendars. The combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern design also makes our calendars with animal pictures a special experience for art and nature lovers.
Sustainable production for a better future
Our animal calendars are hardly conceivable without untouched wilderness. However, the protection of our environment is not only important to us for this reason, even if the beauty of nature always reminds us of its importance.
Since 2012, we have only used FSC®-certified paper, which comes from responsibly managed forests and other controlled sources. We also produce all calendars in Germany to ensure short transportation routes and thus a reduction in CO2 emissions.
Since 2013, we have been offsetting all unavoidable emissions by supporting climate protection projects. In addition, since 2020, we have been replanting a new tree in our company forest in West Africa for every tree needed for our calendar production.
